In 15th century gypsies come in Bulgaria from Egypt and become a strong social part as musicians, singers and dancers.
Till these days Bulgarian gypsies are still singing despite challenges of life, they are still dancing in a problem environment, they are not afraid to stand up for their rights of freedom and spirit.
The power of spirit is one of the reasons to start Gypsy TV project – to give gypsies their media place so to present themselves to the others, to assure their confidence and self-respect. Our mission is to show how differences make us equal, how we live next door, how to solve problems together.
Only because we share one land.
